Mint Sausage Patties


Note:     This is a nicely flavored sausage that's quick and easy to make and doesn't have to be
    stuffed into casings. A favorite in deer camp.

Ingredients: 1 3/4 lbs. ground venison
                  1 3/4 lbs. ground pork
                  1 tbsp. salt
                  1 tsp. read cayenne pepper
                  1/8 tsp. garlic powder
                  1 tsp. cumin
                  1 tsp. poultry seasoning
                  1 tsp. sage
                  1 tsp. curry powder
                  1 tsp. dry mint, or 5 leaves fresh mint, diced

          Grind the venison and port together and mix well. Then mix in the rest of the ingredients. Form into patties, and fry until browned and cooked through.
