Betty's Venison Chops

Note: This is a spicy dish that will tame any wild-tasting cut of meat. It'll make you pucker.

Servings: 4

Ingredients: 1/4 tsp. onion salt
                  1/2 tsp. salt
                  1/4 tsp. pepper
                  3 tbsp. flour
                  4 venison chops or steaks (1 1/2 to 2 lbs. total)
                  4 tbsp. oil
                  1/2 Cup ketchup
                  1/2 cup vinegar
                  1/2 tsp. garlic salt
                  1 tsp. Liquid Smoke
                  1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
                  Dash Tabasco sauce

          In a small, shallow bowl, mix together onion salt,salt, pepper and flour. Dip chops or steaks in mixture and coat on all sides. Fry meat in oil until brown. Mix remaining ingredients in a small bowl. Pour over browned meat and simmer until meat is tender -- about 1 1/2 hours.
